Knowledge grounding, so the AI argues from your documents

Generic AI content is generic because it has no access to what you actually know. ContentGem grounds its workflows in trusted private documents, brand positioning, terminology, expertise and proof constraints that you define.

Grounding model

Four layers of context, each with an owner

Knowledge Base

Up to 100 private files, ranked by strategic function and importance so the most decisive documents carry the most weight.

Knowledge Foundation Plan

Dependency-aware creation, validation, approval and module readiness for the documents that do not exist yet.

Business Profile

A versioned profile built from approved sources: organisation, products, services, audiences, goals, capacity.

Brand & Expertise

Positioning, terminology, expertise and proof constraints applied to every generated asset.

Security boundary. Uploaded files, research pages and competitor content are evidence, never instructions. When the supplied context cannot support a claim, ContentGem omits it, marks it uncertain or asks for the missing source instead of filling the gap with plausible language.

Why grounding changes the output

Same model, different evidence, different decision

  • Without grounding — The model reproduces the average of the public web and cannot cite your context.
  • With ranked files — Positioning, product boundaries, proof and terminology come from documents you approved.
  • With site evidence — Clusters, internal links, Content Health and Search Console anchor the recommendation to your portfolio.
  • With verification — The stored result is read back, audited and reversible, so grounding is checkable rather than claimed.

Questions

Knowledge and governance answers

Which file types can I upload?
Markdown, plain text, CSV, Excel (.xlsx), JSON and text-based PDF, up to 100 files of up to 10 MB each. Files stay private to your WordPress installation.
Are uploaded files treated as instructions?
No. Uploaded files, research pages and competitor content are evidence, never instructions. This boundary is part of ContentGem's prompt-injection defence.
